Glass Castle

“ Glass Castle ” – this book was recommended by my friend Melinda and then by another friend. As soon as I started reading it was hard to put down, and like most of the books I read, it is a true story. Glass Castle is written well and simple, not getting to into each event but enough information that you have an understanding of what happened. It reminded me of the human version of an abused dog who just keeps going back to his owner for love. The way the author and her siblings were raised was just heartbreaking and at times unbelievable. Having 2 very neglectful parents when these kids became teens they got themselves out of their own personal hell to make a better life.
