When you come to Florida be prepared to meet our state mascot…the lizard. They are everywhere and we have different varieties but mostly all the same size. I use to freak out when I first moved here because they are fast, plus the fact that in NY we didn’t have them, just locusts! Over the year I have grown to think some are cute, and accept them…even in the house. They eat smaller bugs which can be helpful inside but I feel bad when they are trapped so I recruit my daughter to free them. Watch out if you have a cat, they may bring you one, and it will not be pretty! Another warning, their tails detach, don’t worry, they grow back.
Notice I did not put this under "pests" because they are not :)
Most lizards are Anoles
